Because Art Can Make Memories Last
Life is made up of moments. Some are fleeting, some are worth recalling. Every celebration leaves some memories behind – a shared meal, a cherished ritual, a familiar gathering, and moments that stay on even after the festivities are over. As we are near the end of the year, a series of festivities await us, from Thanksgiving, Halloween, Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas to New Year’s Eve, and more global occasions. Festivities help us stay connected through joy, happiness, and a sense of belonging we cherish for a lifetime. Customs and rituals may vary across cultures and traditions, but the soul of celebration remains universal.
We invite artists worldwide to capture such happy moments of togetherness in TERAVARNA Foundation’s Free Juried Art Competition Made of Memories. This contest is an artistic reflection of celebrations worldwide in any genre, style, and medium. They can be paintings or photographs of happy moments with your pet, a family dinner, a newborn, or any cherished ritual worth remembering. As every culture has its own way of expressing joy and camaraderie, let your art tools recreate those extraordinary moments through painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, and others. We accept all forms of two- and three-dimensional visual art.

Artists from around the world are invited to participate, regardless of nationality, location, experience, or artistic background.
Every Style and Visual Medium Is Welcome
Submit paintings, drawings, sculptures, mixed media, digital art, prints, textiles, ceramics, installations, and other visual art forms in any desired style.
Open to All Ages
Participants of all ages are welcome to enter this free happy moments art competition. Participants under 18 may enter with the required parent or guardian consent, where applicable.
Human-Created Art Only
AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork is not eligible.
Each artist may submit only one entry to ensure equal opportunity for all participants; duplicate submissions will result in disqualification.

Countless artists possess extraordinary skills but struggle to reach out to a wider audience. There are geographical and cultural barriers and, mostly, financial barriers to funding their projects. That’s why we have conceived this free-of-cost art competition to empower artists (including underrepresented and underprivileged voices) to build their confidence. We strive to make those deserving voices heard and their creative dreams transformed into reality.
